About the Process

I'm an Experimental Photography Artist and Cinematographer from Puerto Rico, based in Los Angeles, CA.  At the moment I'm working with two experimental photo processes that I really enjoy, Lumentprint and Chemigrams.  Both are essentially painting with light over photo sensitive material, making each print unique.  Lumentprint is a camera-less processes that involves photographic paper, organic materials and the sun, photograms but with the sun. While Chemigrams is also a camera-less process where an image is produce by painting with substances over photographic paper to then exposed to the sun.  The fun part about chemigrams is that is completely intuitive, there's not always an exact way to follow the process while developing the abstract image.  Sometimes can be a long process and take days. And to keep things more fun, sometimes I like to extend the concept of painting over light sensitive paper and add paint to the prints.

Note: Images are sent unframed, including an acid free matting to protect the print while mailing.  Framing is available upon request at an additional cost to be discussed.
